I found you whilst surfing the net on postcard sites. I've been turning out our old family home after my father died, & have found 6 old postcards of Toronto. None of them have been posted, 3 of them have a short message on the back & 3 of them have the publisher's names as follows:- W J GAGE & CO LTD, TORONTO MADE IN GERMANY No 1791 and THE CHAS J MITCHELL CO LIMITED, TORONTO and WARWICK BRO'S & RUTLER LIMITED, PUBLISHERS, TORONTO 1723 They would date from circa 1905 & belonged to my grandma who was an avid postcard collector at the turn of the century. There is one black & white, MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS, TORONTO. The remainder are coloured, ON HUMBER RIVER, TORONTO, CAN. - TORONTO, TRINITY UNIVERSITY (Galbraith Photo Co) - PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS, TORONTO - JARVIS STREET, TORONTO - YONGE STREET (Looking North from King St) TORONTO. I am looking to sell them, either together or separately, & wondered if any of your members would be interested. I can e-mail pix if you would like.
